    Packing is designed for each artwork or item of cultural property after assessing its materials, structure, dimensions and weight. Oil paintings are individually interleaved to protect the painted surface and wrapped against moisture.

    Precision instruments and equipment go into timber cases — fully enclosed, half enclosed or crated — chosen against the handling the route will actually involve.

    Fragile and sculptural pieces are packed to a made-to-shape form so the object is fully supported rather than merely surrounded.

    Controlled packing

    We also handle dangerous goods packing and documentation, and temperature-controlled packing including dry ice.
