Customs clearance
Declaration at any port in China, with our own documentation centre and in-house customs and inspection teams. We hold offices at the Beijing customs districts and file wherever the goods actually arrive.
Beyond ordinary declarations, the work we are asked for most often is the work that does not fit a standard declaration.
What this covers

Duty-exempt imports
Where exemption has been granted by the responsible ministry, the qualification is recorded with the supervising customs authority and an exemption certificate obtained before declaration.

Temporary import and export
Customs examines the stated purpose before approval, which typically takes five to ten working days. The goods must return within the permitted period — generally six months — and a deposit is normally required.

CCC-regulated goods and CCC exemption
Goods requiring China Compulsory Certification are inspected more often than most, and the shipment must match the certificate exactly. Where an exemption applies, it is applied for by the actual consignee, and approvals frequently carry a condition to re-export or destroy within a stated period. Duty remains payable either way.

ATA carnets
ATA carnets allow qualifying goods to enter and leave participating countries temporarily without payment of duty or VAT.

Goods returned for repair
Items returning under warranty clear free of duty; outside warranty, duty is assessed on the repair cost and parts combined. Goods must be re-exported or re-imported within six months, with the deposit released against the customs declaration.

Re-export and direct re-export
Consignments returned for damage, shortage, quality, specification or delivery reasons follow the ordinary re-export route. Direct re-export applies before release — mis-shipped or mis-discharged cargo, goods that must be returned under law, and processing materials being exchanged.

We also handle bonded zone and bonded logistics park movements, bonded warehouse entry and exit, paperless declaration across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, transit and dry-port declarations, guaranteed release, and enquiries on goods held at passenger or postal inspection.
