Challenge
Human blood is a high-risk biological material with strict export controls and demanding transport requirements.
A medical institution needed to send samples to an overseas laboratory for testing. Like most hospitals, it held no import/export registration, no China E-Port credentials and no declaration experience — and blood samples lose their analytical value if they sit at a port.
Approach
We built the compliance chain from nothing: temporary foreign trade operator registration, E-Port credentials and the electronic filing record, then the special articles health quarantine approval itself. Throughout, we settled the destination authorities’ entry requirements in parallel rather than in sequence.
Transport ran on dry ice under continuous temperature monitoring, in packaging built to the biological safety standard the category requires.
Outcome
The samples cleared and reached the overseas laboratory with their integrity intact, and testing proceeded on schedule.
